I cannot thank Mr Latimer enough. My knee surgery has given me my life back. He explained everything to me in a professional and polite manner and was easily approachable. I had questions to ask and he took time to explain to allow me to understand. I cannot recommend this gentleman enough and would urge anyone in need of care to contact him.

I spoke personally over the phone with Mr Latimer after struggling to get any clarity from other consultants regarding a knee issue my daughter was having. Through my description of what had been going on he decided that we should be given an urgent appointment. He called back promptly saying he was happy to see our daughter personally if we wished, but had managed to arrange for us to see another Pediatric consultant that he recommended in a childrens hospital closer to our home. Mr Latimer clearly cares immensely about helping people. He did not have any obligation to help us but went out of his way to do so. His communication was excellent and informative. Without his help we would be still clueless as to what our issue was and be waiting for months longer that we should have been. I cannot thank him enough.

Mr Latimer is a brilliant doctor , gave us his professional advice and the best way forward. His approach was very friendly and caring. He is very down to easy and easy to communicate with. We are based in London and are willing to travel to Cambridge to have my daughter seen by Dr Latimer. I would highly recommend getting his opinion I really wish I would met him first time she had her injury.

From my first consultation with Dr Latimer for a hip replacement he has been kind, professional, helpful and thorough in making sure I was getting the operation I needed. Even though the pandemic was causing chaos in every other aspect of our daily lives Dr Latimer and the team at the Fitzwilliam looked after me with great care and my hip replacement went ahead without any problems. I have been back for my Physio and have now seen Dr Latimer for my follow, final up consultation during which I was shown my X-rays and the full process of exactly what was done and why was carefully explained to me in terms that made perfect sense. Dr Latimer confirmed that everything is as it should be and he has now discharged me from needing any more consultations unless I have any concerns. My wound is healing well and I am very happy to have had my operation because I am already feeling the benefit of greatly reduced levels of pain. I was treated throughout with respect and good humour and would not hesitate to return to Dr Latimer should I need the other hip replacing in the future.
